Welcome to the first CBO episode of 2010! Over the Christmas holidays both Scott and Steve have been busy relaxing and eating far too much food and then sitting for long periods of time wondering why they ate so much. However it did give them both ample time to watch a lot of movies, read a lot of comics and watch DVDs.

We start off this episode with only a small slice of news, that still manages to go on for a while. For the next few episodes we will continue to cover some news and reviews from the last month.

For our main feature we have an interview with Chris Lynch, the co-creator of Monkeys With Machineguns. He has a new graphic novel called The Dark coming out from Markosia this March and we discuss where his interest in comics started, forthcoming projects and The Dark which is currently in previews.

Just a quick reminder, our current book club selection is Empire in Black and Gold by Adrian Tchaikovsky and we will be interviewing the author in about two and a half weeks. So if you have read the book and want to send in any questions, get in touch and we will try to ask Adrian as many of your questions as possible at the end of this month.
