WFUV's 5 decades in 5 days celebrates the '70s with Janis Ian. From a teenage star to a respected songwriting veteran, Janis Ian has seen a lot in her 4 decades in music. So instead of writing lyrics she's now written a memoir, "Society's Child: My Autobiography." Today Janis talks with WFUV's John Platt about the inspiration and process behind the book, and performs two songs that helped her along the way.
