Dr. Fredi Kronenberg is Professor of Clinical Physiology and Director of the Richard and Hinda Rosenthal Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. She received her B.S. from Cornell University in neurobiology and behavior and her Ph.D. from Stanford University in physiology, where she researched thermoregulatory and reproductive physiology. Her postdoctoral research at Columbia University initiated her work in womenOs health and menopause. She is a leading expert in the endocrinology and thermoregulatory physiology of menopausal hot flashes, and alternative therapies to treat them.
