How much water do you really need every day? Unfortunately, there is no hard and fast rule for the proper amount of water to consume. The suggested amount varies according to the individual, influenced by such variables as health, activity level and environment. Water comprises sixty percent of your body weight. There is no part of the body that does not rely on water to function. Because of this, dehydration can lead to a wide range of critical conditions.
