In 1979 radio producer Barry Mortlock Anthony was at a loose end. He was well into his 30s and uncertain about his future but strangely attracted to some `maverick´ broadcasts emanating from youth station, 2JJ. He had heard the series Watching The Radio with the TV Off made by Tony Barrell and was fascinated enough to get in touch.
