I've been using pocket holes on and off in my own shop for a wide assortment of projects. They're quick and easy to use and they create a strong joint that works amazing! Some will argue that because they're not a "traditional" joinery technique they don't work as well as other wood joinery, but I've never had a problem yet and don't ever expect too.
