I am so out of touch!!
Being in Tokyo right now, I have to say I seriously feel a close connection to the manga scene. Yeah, I might not be in Nakano or Musashino where most of the stuff goes down (where you could literally run into mangaka like Hojo Tsukasa drinking having steak for dinner), but Akihabara is not a bad place to start. But somehow I feel as if I have no clue what is going on the other side of the pond.
To remedy that the MangaBlog has come to my rescue once again. Now I can get information about what new publisher has launched in the UK. I can now find ways to get my younger relatives to ride public transit, saving the earth manga style in the Bay Area. And who is coming and going at MyTP... I mean MySpace... I mean TOYKOPOP. The MangaBlog has once again brought the manga news to my earbuds... Even when I am halfway around the world!!!
