Ilovethis song. Despite it’s ever so creepy, disturbing lyrics; it’s hauntingly beautiful. My most favorite part is when Sufjan sings out,“Oh my GoooOOood”.Man, I hate clowns.

When my older brother would hum the first few notes of this song, that was my cue torun! It was“let’s hit Joy on the head with the tennis racket” time. Oh, what fun childhood memories.
- Jane’s Addiction :: Ted, Just Admit It
Mymostfavorite Jane’s Addiction songever. And one of the greatest rock songs ever, as far as I’m concerned. Can you detect the giddiness in my voice talking about it? Haha. I’m so weird.
I was soo tempted to singalong with the track, but I don’t want to lose any listeners! Butdamn! This song totallyrocks! I remember singing it in the car with my friends. Oh, we would be totally into it.
Like the whole beginning part, where Perry’s all singing“Everybody, everybody, everybody-day-day-yay-yay…” .. Dudes, we like totally perfected the timing and the intonations.
And ohdude, the first time Perry sings out the“sex is VI-O-LENT” part… geez, you had to be there.
Oh, we were such dorks… but you knew that.
