Stephen Marra and Bill Hedge interview jazz alto sax player, and Uni Big Band Siegen (2004-2005) leader Hans Christian Doerrscheidt. Out of Siegen, Germany, Hans Doerrscheidt shares with us his beginnings in jazz, growing up in a divided Europe, impressions of the vibrant jazz scene in Germany, and plays for us a JazzTrack from his own home brewed recordings. Hans Doerrscheidt is a guest player with the jazz octet Octobop whenever he's in the Bay Area.
