Un-Palette-Able

Real funny, guys. Ooh, big joke on the color-blind guy, har dee har har. I hate this office sometimes.

Hope the laughs were worth it. God forbid I should actually do my job and, y’know, land a client or something. Let’s just say that Rico from El Hombre Masculino Custom Choppers, Inc. wasn’t as amused when I walked into that meeting with a pink Acer Netbook. I mean, if you were a burly, tattooed Hell’s Angel type, would you trust Mr. Pink Netbook to sell you motorcycle parts? Not if you’re Rico from El Hombre Masculino Custom Choppers, Inc., you wouldn’t.

You couldn’t just swap out my black Acer Netbook for a red one, or a blue one, or a white one. Even purple wouldn’t have been as bad. No, you had to go with pink. And like the color-blind fool that I am, I never noticed the difference.

It still had the same 10.1” screen, the same 160GB hard drive, the same pre-loaded Windows 7 operating system. How was I supposed to know it would make me the laughingstock of the local chopper scene? Whose idea was this? Neil? Eric? Was it you, Craig? I might as well have walked in there toting a sequined handbag. With a Pomeranian inside.
