Link to the Show / Show NotesHappy Thanksgiving! Wait, it isn't thanksgiving where you are? Well, it is in Canada. Either that or weeks of night shift have really messed up my perception of time. Either is completely possible. We've got a great show this week with lots of new stuff including another band or two making thier first appearance!
Leaetherstrip - I Love The Sound Of Acid Rain
I haven't really been all that keen on the most recent Leaetherstrip output, but this track is actually fairly bouncy and upbeat while talking about something rather dark. It's a nice contrast and a good track.
Seize - Craving (Press The Mushroom)
Now we get into some dancier stuff, as we venture into a track from the new Reconnected 2.0 double disc compilation. It's pretty straightforward trance influenced synthpop. Great stuff.
Stigma - Heroes (Radio Edit)
Once again, another band I don't really know anything about other than they appear on the new Futureclash 2006 compilation. i can't put my finger on it, but I've heard this sound before and I quite like it. I hate band names that are common words. You just can't google them!
Aiboforcen - Confusion (Pride & Fall)
I like this much more than the original stuff from their latest disc. Gives it a bit more of a dancy edge, and thats just something I have to have. I guess this would be the second track from the Reconnected 2.0 comp!
Exilanation - Confusion (Fabrikc)
Cool, Exilanation has a new remix disc out. Hopefully I've even spelled the bands name right for once. A nice loud stompy remix from Fabrikc. Now I swear thats not a misspelling either!
Velvet Acid Christ - Ghost Regen
Overall the latest VAC disc is just kinda "there" but there's something about this breakbeat instrumental track that really does something for me. We've played the remix, so lets give the original a spin.
Matrix - On Angels Wings
While it's a little "typical" of the genre, the new Matrix disc is really solid and I figured we'd give it one more track before putting it away.
Nun - Burn (Short)
Now as the show comes to a close we'll slow things down a bit with an edit from Nun. There's just something here that I really like.
Check it out!
