League.Whilst Middlesbrough are Paddy Power's 6/1 betting favourites for the Championship title, with punters also making Gordon Strachan's
team their most popular bet
with 26% of all bets struck, it is the new boys Leeds and Norwich that have surprisingly caught the eye of punters. The Championship new boys
are following Boro in the popularity stakes as the second and third most backed teams respectively. Both teams are at betting odds of 18/1 for the
title with Leeds 11/2 for promotion and Norwich 6/1.Paddy Power differs from the punters in their opinion though, making Nottingham Forest
and Burnley the second and third favourites at betting odds of 15/2 and 10/1.At the other end of the table Portsmouth are the punters tip for
the drop at odds of 7/4. A huge 37% of bets back the South Coast inspired, perhaps, by the financial woes at Fratton Park. Scunthrope though are the
