The Parisian collective, The Cars are the Stars, delivers delicate, melodic and hypnotic electronic music with their second album Fragments. The lyrics, both in French and English, coupled with alternating male/female voices, are another appealing characteristic of the band. German minimal electronic music - with a French touch - meets classic indie-rock of the 90’s. Melancholy and emotions are wonderfully expressed.
