Link to the Show / Show NotesWow it took us more than two weeks to get through it all but YaoiCon coverage has finally come to an end. Our last .mp3 is the Juné panel that took place on Sunday Oct 22.
Juné was my big winner at this years YaoiCon. Queens of the Party... I don't know if that works. But you don't have to look at the number of titles they announced to figure out that this pub was everywhere at all times at this con. They brought in a great guest in Kawai Touko. The mangaka had a reasonably well attended panel and was very gracious to sit down with a few members of the "press" over the weekend. June also had a huge chunk of the dealers market where they had contests, sold books and advertised Yaoi-themed tours of Japan. Many of their books were in the con library. Yaoi Manga paddles could be seen in the hands of many con-goers. And once their panel did start they had a lively crowd that were very active at 11:00a on a Sunday.
