John is an internationally known social theorist on consumerism and its impact on business, innovation and strategy. It was voted the third best of Amazon’s best business books of 2008 and in the best marketing books by Strategy + Business for 2009. A frequent essayist, columnist and commentator, John has been interviewed reviewed and appeared in The Economist, Financial Times, New York Times, Harvard Business Review, Strategy & Business, CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, Inc. Newsweek among others. He is an in demand public speaker and a much sought-after source for the business press.
