This month, Mirella Amato of Beerology sits down with Ken Woods from Black Oak Brewing Co. and Alex Nichols from Barley Days Brewery, to chat about Ontario brewed stouts. In the first part of this Ontario Brewer Podcast, Alex and Ken discuss the various kinds of grain that go into their Barley Days Working Man’s Stout and Black Oak Double Chocolate Cherry Stout and detail how each of these grains affect the appearance, aroma, flavour and mouthfeel of their beers.
