On Intellectual Icebergs, we feature interesting conversations about both hard and soft science topics, with an obvious IT and geek bias. We set all of our conversations and spoken word pieces to some of the best vocals-free independent music we can find. When we envisioned Intellectual Icebergs, we didn't anticipate first the way the music we found would take on a life of its own, and demand to be heard in its own right. And second, that we would find so much incredible music we could not use on the show, either because it has vocals, or because it's licensed in such a way as to disallow derivative works. To address both of these issues, we've created Aural Icebergs, the music podcast companion to Intellectual Icebergs. On Aural Icebergs we play the music used on IntIce, but we also play some of the other songs we found but cannot use on Intellectual Icebergs. We hope you like what you hear!
